Herbs are one of humanity’s oldest known therapeutic needs for long-term health, and they serve as the foundation modern medicine. There is currently a thirst demand healthy diets with added value all around world. One such important herb that can be found in many different locations corn silk. The Chinese Native Americans have used silk (Stigma maydis) generations to treat wide range conditions. Many countries world, including Turkey, United States, France, use it traditional Its potential application highly dependent on characteristics mechanisms action plant’s bioactive ingredients, flavonoids, terpenoids, other phytochemicals. Pharmacological investigations shown this plant has medicinal qualities anti-oxidant, anti-depressant, anti-hyperlipidemia, anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective toxicity more.
